I can totally learn from a few of these. Agreed with everyone, now just need to act on them all!
Kayla, I love, love, love this. And several of them I already do. Working on that mindful eating though, and I have no leaves to rake though I've always loved that never-ending outdoor work. It's always helped me appreciate the seasons and cycles in this world.
I like the last one =)- Sarahhttp://agirlintransit.blogspot.com/
i LOVE this list. great for your mental/emotional wellbeing as well as some good ole practical tips. i totally use a timer when i clean. it makes it that much easier to get started. and it's funny, i'm doing laundry right now and the "empty the hampers" item totally called me out on my resentment. i will now attempt to have an intimate encounter with the very fabrics of my life. ready, here i go.
Love this! I do tend to resent the laundry that piles up around here. Time to turn my attitude around...I always, always make my bed. I totally believe that- "The state of your bed is the state of your head." Good to know my head is sorted out each morning before I take on the day!You always share the loveliest stuff, Kayla. Thank you!
Wow, this really did give me a lot to think about. I'm doing quite well with a few of these, but really poorly on others. Doing the laundry without resentment is going to be a challenge and a half, I must admit.
I think this is heavenly. I actually used to call John when we lived apart to tell him how much I missed his socks in the laundry basket!
Love each of these tips! Beautiful!
my new motto: a messy bed is a messy head. LOVE THIS!
Ah, I love these wise words! So great to remember. Thanks : )
So simple and so true. The "Sit" one definitely applies.. the "Sleep when Tired" is a no-brainer that my fogged up brain can't process, resulting in even later nights up when all I need are zz's. Thank you for the reminder!Have a beautiful night..
Sleep when tired is probably the most important one. I should show this to my teachers as well... ha ha (:
This is such a great poster. If only everyone followed this, right? "What a wonderful world this would be!" :) I need to start following a few of these more diligently as well. Ever since I read a Buddha quote about performing each task well and enjoying it, dish washing has been much easier and not as dreadful, ha!
Wow, this is wonderful inspiration for having a calm experience at home!
Your thoughts always bring a smile to my face. Thank you so much for stopping by, and for taking the time to leave them.
