Oh The Summer Night

"Oh, the summer night
Has a smile of light
And she sits on a sapphire throne."
-Barry Cornwall

This weekend, I did a lot of barefoot walking on my lawn, following the maze of sun rays, and watching the way they illuminated everything in sight.

I also rode in a convertible, devoured fried tofu with friends, and slept deeply in freshly-laundered sheets.

  1. Convertibles are just part of summer, aren't they?

I love the light in the first two pictures!

    1. Victoria, I was obsessed with the light. I wish I could bottle it, though I suppose photographs are nearly as good as that!

  4. Freshly laundered, and dried on the clothesline by any chance? That's the best kind!

4 days left of school here. I can't wait to be on vacation!
