Scenes From The Weekend
Not much to report around these parts. It was a low-key weekend filled with major house-cleaning/organizing, a bike ride, a trip to the farmer's market, business planning, and the Bachelorette finale. All good things.
I started writing this post at 12:47 AM, and in the middle of doing so, Tiho and I randomly started talking about toes. I learned that the Bulgarian word for pinky finger/toe means "little dog." Moreover, the language doesn't have a word for ring finger: they call it the no-name finger (same for the toe).
My tired brain finds this absolutely hilarious, and yes, you totally have the right to question why you're reading this right now.
With that, I hope your Monday is a good one.
P.S. That kitty startled us on Saturday night. She belongs to a neighbor down the street and jumped from the bushes onto the sidewalk where we were walking. She was very friendly though. I like her.(And her magic eyes!).

You were better than I was this weekend! I was supposed to get laundry and cleaning done, but I ended up not even being home to do it. So, it wil just have to wait now.

DeleteThat kitty has super sweet paws! I did a lot of house organisation this weekend as well - felt good :)
ReplyDeleteah, doesn't it? I always grumble in the midst, but am delighted when all is said and done and I have a clean house.
DeleteMy house-cleaning spree will take the entirety of the summer! But then I have two messy boys to contend with over here :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, Miss Kayla!
