The Colors of Preschool
It's easy to get caught up in the stressors of the day-to-day, but when I really pause and think about it, I'm struck by the thought of how much I love my job. Teaching is both rewarding and hard. The kids make it worth it though. I could be having a not-so-stellar day and the second they walk through that door offering bear hugs, rainbow paintings, and palpable excitement over pink flubber slime, all is alright again.
I took these photos around school last week while shooting a promo campaign in several different classrooms. This is my Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM world. I'm grateful for it.

This is so sweet. It's great that you love your job and are making a difference in those kids' lives!
ReplyDeleteThanks, C! Whenever I feel bogged down, I stop to remember that I am genuinely happy to go to work every day. That's huge.
DeleteYour perspective is so beautiful–John and I were just feeling grateful for our sometimes frustrating but truly wonderful realities this morning. Also, I'm now craving Goldfish.
ReplyDeletedude, I eat so many goldfish on a weekly basis, it's almost sick. also, string cheese and apple slices.
DeleteWhat lovely colors =) I have to remind myself to soak up daily moments too =)
