Spring On My Mind

I stopped by one of the neighborhood flower shops to put together a small bouquet over the weekend. The grayness of winter is starting to seriously affect my psyche, so I was immediately drawn to the springiest colors in the store. Pale yellow roses, stock in the faintest whisper of pink, soft white alstroemeria, and of course, a few sprigs of bright lemon leaf for good measure.

This week, I think I'm going to fill every room in the house with jars and jars of daffodils.

  5. This is such a great idea! I have three vases of flowers in my room here in University and they do so much to brighten the room or my mood, especially when the sky behind them is grey or it's raining. There's something about flowers that make me think of sunshine.
