Sunset Over Brewster Bay

Whew. This past week has been a whirlwind. After a wonderfully exciting (but also exhausting!) weekend shooting a wedding in western Pennsylvania, I returned home late Sunday evening only to hop back in the car Monday morning and drive four and a half hours to Cape Cod for a quickie 48-hour trip.

My cousin's firstborn turns one next month and she wanted a casual photo shoot at our family's summer cottage in Brewster to commemorate the occasion. There will be plenty more of that shared soon (little Amara is just delightful), but for now, here's Monday's view from our beach.

It doesn't matter how many times I witness a sunset. It doesn't matter that it happens each and every night. It still feels like the most miraculous, astonishing occurrence every single time.
